hi guys,
i need to get this off my chest wanted to post for the past 2 weeks but am slightly scared about it.
Chloe as most know has been referred for suspected ADHD but we are still awaiting an appointment.
Over the last month she has become more aggressive than normal and in the past week she has nearly blinded me, chucked things at her dad and then pulled his hair screaming all names under the sun at him because he asked her to sit down, kiched my mums boyfriend for asking her to stop shouting at him for no reason and permanently runs at me as though she will do some serious harm of which she has hurt me four times this week just for telling her to calm down, play nicely and behave.
Not only that but she has started to punch and push dylan over with no remorse and no reason.
Cant handle anymore and worried that she will start this behaviour at school.
Please help!!!

no one has really helped, just pass me from pillar to post about appointments.
I don't think that anything is worrying her, i think that she is getting older and therefore more capable of being disruptive and hurting people.
I have a good relationship with her when she wants to have one, but other than that you cant get through to her, and if as stated that she has Suspected ADHD then this could be one of the attributes.
I just dont know what to do anymore.

No relevant experience to share but thought that if you posted a similar thread on the special needs board, you might find more experienced people to give you practical advice. Hope someone can help you soon.

i would class this as special needs but at the mo it is her behaviour so thought that this would be best place to put the thread.

Is she anxious about the return to school?
Check diet for any triggers or changes
Ask school for support , even if she isn't doing it there they won't want her to start , the head or senco may be able to push for a referal or ed psche(sp?).
Sorry not to be more help, good luck.

Cheers for that advise,
I have been in talks with the school since last year although they only started to take things seriously when they received a conners report to fill in and had a phone call from the school pead.
We are all aware that she has problems, but the problem i am having is how to deal with the violence, the shouting and screaming i ignore, but you cant ignore violence and i can't seem to find anyway to stop it other than restraining her which is hard work and when dylan is there it's not always possible to do.
I have changed her diet, she has 2 teaspoons of haliborange every day, i follow all the guidelines Ie: naughty step, time out, star charts, pasta jars, but it does'nt work and believe me, i am very consistent and persistent which is why i need extra help!!!

Hav eyou returned to the dr or hv etc since she has become violent?
If you keep going back even if it is for you being stressed(do you need time off work) they may push you up the list ,.
If she is ADHD dx she will possibly get meds and therapy that will help but until then not alot of help will be forthcoming.
The only thing I can suggest is that you make sur that anyone who can help you at home with her does and avoid stressful situations(ie shopping) where possible.
Sorry I couldn't be more help.
Good luck

thanks Nickki,
I have rung the school nurse today in tears as had areally bad morning and she refused to go to school, although i got her there after dragging her.
My partner stormed out this morning and said that she is becoming intolerable and said "she needs drugs or something" I dont agree with what he said, but we are really pissed off with her uncontrolable behaviour and the violence.
School nurse has said that she will get an appointment with school doctor beginning of october to rate her conners report etc, but until then i shall have to wait.
She has also refferred chloe to Social services for "child in need" whatever that is, she said that it would get me help quicker, what about PARENT IN NEED???
any way, rant over.

She has been a total pain all weekend and i am totally glad that it is school in the morning.
We have been out with the mother in law today, and she has done nothing but back chat and be extremely naughty, run away and say no.
Cant understand that even when we are doing things that she really enjoys, she can be that naughty and disruptive.
My mother in law was really upset as she had several incedences with her and she does'nt like it.
She knows that chloe has problems but has never experienced the violence and verbal abuse like she has today!!!
Hope that we get help soon!¬!!
