Diagnosing ADD or similar

I feel v strongly that my dd had attention problems. I had mentioned to her teacher last year and she said she thought DD was just a bit daydream-y. (as was I as a kid- all my school reports say so, and at 20 something ;) I still struggle to focus )

Tonight, DD had classwork sent home that took her over an hour to complete (she is exhausted and tbh, her self esteem is shot now..literally disappeared since the start of september, which is making this all the more difficult) When added to regular homework, it took 3 hours tonight. And I didnt even do it all. Shes only 7.

Anyway...Im pretty sure I saw a post on here a while back that linked to a page which informally diagnosed ADD / ADHD, but I cant find it on search. Anyone know where it was, or know of somewhere I could look?

Im acquaintances with a teacher of special needs kids - mild autism etc but experience with ADD and arranged to meet her to chat about DD, but feel I want to educate myself before then too.

All help appreciated!

There is no way your child should do three hours of homework for whatever reason at her age.
Did she not finish in class because of daydreaming or because she couldn't do it? What was it? At 7 she should be reading each night, and perhaps some simple maths (number bonds times, tables)
If it happens again, limit the time and offer to help. Then discuss further with the teacher who should have different strategies to just sending the work home.
