my 5 wk old does not want morning feed

HI
My 4, nearly 5 wk old son, wakes up around 6.45 am, wanting to lie on his back and look around. This morning he only took his morning feed an hour later. I feed him at 5pm, 6.15pm, 10.30pm, and a mid-night feed around 3am usually. Was thinking that perhaps I should start cutting back on his mid-night feed? Only as it appears that he does not need all of it, as otherwise he would wake up hungry. Wondered whether people have experienced this situation. thanks

I'd be inclined to trim the 3am feed a bit to encourage a good morning feed. Also maybe offer midnight feed a bit earlier, say 2ish ?

That's not many feeds for such a young baby. How's his nappies? I'd suggest you post in breast and bottle feeding as might get more responses there? I assume you feed between the morning feed and 5pm?
