DS is 9 months old, and is teething. He has two gorgeous teeth at the bottom front and another 4 about to come through any time.

He has taken to eating DDs thick hair bands, thick cotton elastic ones, just absolutely adores sucking on them, screams when I take them off him, and keeps finding them no matter what I do with them. He sucks them, them, stretches them while holding with fingers and teeth, in fact the sucking and stretching is his favourite thing in the world right now. He has one in between his teeth/mouth right now, been happily playing with it for an hour.

Now, while he is right in front of me I can see him and I don't really have a problem with them [bad mummy emoticon], but obviously cannot have him sucking them when I am not looking.

what can i replace it with that gives him the same sensation/texture thing but being more baby friendly? (he also likes sucking flannels)
