When did your child start drawing faces?

That is circles with dots or circles etc for eyes, nose, mouth, ears etc?

DS is 3.3 and draws faces - not sure when this started as he just did it unprompted last week. He has the concentration span of a flea so am surprised he sat down long enough to draw a face.

My DS 2.11 came home with a picture from nursery. I took it back as thought couldnt be his - it was a really good face. Nursery assured me it was his. I was so proud!

DD is 19 months and drawing recognizable faces and calling them 'baby'.

I was a bit shocked as I think DS was just scribbling at this age.
