screeching baby

My DS is 7 months (6 corrected age) and over the past week he has started to screech. He's also teething, so I thought that this might be the reason for all the "noise". But honestly, it's exhausting, he doesn't stop screeching from the moment he wakes up. It's driving me mad! I don't know what he wants, why he's doing this :(
When we go out in public is very embarrassing because he just makes noise and we get all the odd looks
Any suggestions?

It's a stage. The only thing you can do is buy earplugs.

They just love the sound of their own voice Grin! IME screeching often does not mean that they want anything specific.

Yes, it is a stage, mine all went through it, sometimes several times.

Just acknowledge it ("yes, dear, I can hear you") and ignore otherwise. And most certainly ingnore the rude odd looks Wink.

As everything else, it will pass, honest.
