My DD is nearly 5 mo. She's really outgoing and extremely smiley with people she knows and also with most strangers. She'll happily interract with pretty much anyone. She absolutely refuses, however, to actually be held by anyone other than me, DH, and her grandparents (who she has spent a lot of time with). She will cry inconsolably and looks really scared. I'm worried because I'm going back to work in a few weeks and we have a nanny starting. The nanny is experianced and sbsolutely lovely and is going to spend a week with us before she has DD to herself but I'm still worried because I'm just not sure how DD will react to her. Does anyone have any advice on how to ease the process of leaving your baby with a stranger while you return to work?!
