Should I expect a 2 year check for dd? Is there meant to be one?! our clinic understaffed and underfunded so we never hear from them unless we have a problem... Thanks...

Think it depends massively on your local PCT and what the HV team do. We go a questionnaire through the post at 2 & 3, which didn't bother me because we didn't need anything, but you'd be totally within reasonable to go to your HV of your own volition. People in other areas have either been called in to a clinic or had a home visit. No consistency at all.

When ds1 turned 2, I got a letter from the HV's just to say that if I had any concerns I should give them a call, but I have friends in other areas who get an official invite into clinic.

We have always had an understaffed team and I had to request a year check. Was told I didn't need one, although eventually I did get a home visit. Thanks, I'll give them a call.
