Not eating - teething or just fussy?

DS is 2.9, ate everything as a baby but has gradually got more and more fussy and I have got to the point where I just make him a meal up out of things I know that he'll eat. In the last few weeks though he's stopped eating almost everything except biscuits, fromage frais, crisps etc.

He does have his four back teeth coming through, one's poking through the gum and I think the others aren't far behind. Is this likely to be the reason why he's refusing food?
At the moment he isn't eating enough to keep a flea alive so I'm giving in and giving him the crappy stuff that he will eat.

That's why he's not eating meals. You're giving in.

Stop giving the crappy stuff - he won't starve. Or swap crappy snacks for healthy snacks - he doesn't necessarily have to have a meal.

When my DS1 was teething, there would be less food and more milk going in.

With both DSs, sometimes they have days when they're just not hungry. I try not to worry about it, and think, they'll eat when they're hungry. And they do, a couple of days later. They are both skinny little things but healthy enough. Just make sure when they are hungry it isn't crap.

I don't count framage frais as crap.

You're right. I shall consider myself kicked up the arse. It'll be milk, good stuff or nothing from here on in.
