hi

my 2 year is pulling all her hair out. she did this at 18 months and we shaved all the hair off and it grew back but now it is starting again. Have been to the doctor's but they say there isn't anything they can do. I don't to shave her head again. Only does this when tired/bored. have given her toy to distract her but this isn't working either - any suggestions?

tired - put her to bed,
bored - lots of play

Did you really shave her hair.....or do you mean cut it short?

we really shaved it with clippers - first at hair dressers but they made a right hash of it then DH did it! It was terrible and I cried and I don't want to do it again!

distraction and more sleep I would say. Ignore. She will stop it.

it was on an episode of Jo frost- probably still available on 4OD- she told the mum to just push the girls hand aside and ignore it. I'd ggogle it though
