Personally I like Bodyform as it is nice and soft.

I think that the orange ones in ultra thin are teh smallest and are certainly less bulky than what i was left with in my day when ulrta thin didn't exist.

I don't believe that pads come in sizes as such, or least I have never seen a 'small' pad, but I could be wrong!

It's more geared to light flow / regular or normal / nighttime or heavy flow.

As she is 11 she would probably need pads to cope with light / normal flow, saying that my first period was the heavist one I've ever had!

You can get some that come with a free 'discreet' tin to store them in then put in her bag / school bag.

My daughter initially found some 'teen pads' which were smaller, although now she's actually started she's moved onto Bodyform - she much prefers them to Always (which I use) which makes for interesting shopping now that we've 'synced up'!
Bodyform are currently giving away tins (at least in our local Asda anyway)

Always Silk (white pack, not green) are slim and 'non-plasticky'.

Asda do a 'TEEN' pad, one for daytime use and one for night. My teenage daughter prefers them to all other makes( and believe me she's tried a lot!)
