Hi everyone,

Just wanted to see what kind of books your little ones are reading at the moment (other than Harry Potter of course :P ).

I'm looking at books aimed at children between 4 and 8 I guess.

Anyway, hope to hear from you all :)

Well, my DC both like the Beast Quest series (formulaic IMO), Roald Dahl, Mr Gumm, and my DD (8) can't get enough of Michael Morpurgo.

My dd (5) love the Horrid Henry series and Dirty Bertie books too. When we're taking a break from these I found a lovely book called Stories for 5 year olds. Roald Dahl also popular - Charlie & the Chocolate Factory was the first chapter book I read to her.
