'What's that? Where did it come from?'

These are DD's constant refrains ATM, she's 3 in November. Is this her version of the 'Why?' phase or just some random thing?

I've no idea when the why phase usually is...

It's just "Why?" in a different format.

I was rather dreading months of this followed by months of 'Why?'. Mind you, I suppose it could well still happen.

I answer he as well/fully as I can, repeat once if necessary and then ask it back to her if she asks a third time. Any tips?

Gah. I meant, she probably did get it from me, it usually seems to be the case. For better or worse. But, how did I do 'What's that? Where did it come from?', I honestly can't see it Blush

My daughter did the exact same thing at that age (a year ago). She asked "where did it come from" about pretty much everything...very tiring!

She has since moved on to "why?". Even more annoying, tbh!
