My son is a transvestite

I'm just so shocked...

I discovered today that my son is a transvestite! I was picking up the clothes for the laundry and I entered his room without knocking.

And there he was... wearing a pair of my high heeled shoes! Clomping around in them, wearing nothing but female footwear and a nappy! He spat his dummy out in shock when I confronted him!

Do you think I should call the Jeremy Kyle show?

Well, that depends....
How old is he?
If he's 25 then maybe I might.

Dione · 04/09/2010 21:42

What were the shoes like, were they fabulous? If not then you may have a problem.

fuschiagroan · 04/09/2010 21:44

Hoping he's a baby, otherwise the nappy and dummy would worry me more than the shoes!

Aww.

Hope you took a photo

Feel for you.

Once found my DS in pop socks, heels and faux gold jewellery I was so shocked I actually took photos, just so I could show people to prove it Wink

class, i always wanted ds1 to put on my shoes for a photo op but he is soo unobliging. fingers crossed for ds2 though Grin

tribpot · 04/09/2010 21:46

One of my nephews used to parade around in his mum's high heels with a bin over his head (this is entirely true).

He doesn't do it now that he'll 11 but who knows, he may rediscover himself in years to come :)

scottishmummy · 04/09/2010 21:52

depends on age.3 no biggie 23,buy his own heels

janajos · 04/09/2010 21:54

My son aged three had a fetish for red tights, I had to buy him a pair of his own.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 04/09/2010 21:55

I feel your pain, DS keeps on picking up pink shoes when we go out.

scottishmummy · 04/09/2010 22:05

i would expect co-ordination & nice accessories any age

bumpsnowjustplump · 04/09/2010 22:29

um well does he want to make friends with my ds who, thanks to dd, was dressed as a fairy today.. complete with wings and a pink boa??????????? what do you think?

FiveGoMadInDorset · 04/09/2010 22:31

Joking apart, in our small village of 200, one bloke has had a sex chaneg and another is a happily married father of 3 who is a TV

DiscoDaisy · 04/09/2010 22:35

A few years ago if you asked my youngest DS what he wanted to be when he was older he would always say a girl. Luckily that did eventually change to a Power Ranger albeit the pink one! GrinDiscodaisy

DinahRod · 04/09/2010 22:37

Dh is storing photos just like this as 'leverage' when ds is a stroppy teen.

scottishmummy · 04/09/2010 22:42

i think a boy is never too young too accessorise.feather boa.nice

Cupcakex · 05/09/2010 17:45

Well I don't have a problem with him being a transvestite - each to their own, but black shoes, a white nappy and a purple dummy!

Forget the Jeremy Kyle show I should be calling Gok Wan! ;)

@ Dionne, oh they're fabulous all right (on me) Wink

Honestly, he's almost 2 years old and he can't even carry off a pair of heels! (I think it was the manic grin, arm waving and clomping)

He just thought it was hilarious to be wearing mummy's shoes! I just wish I'd had a camera!

I don't even think it's a gender thing anyway, I think he just likes my footwear better because I've got better taste than his dad! Smile
