Stair gates to fit french doors - Desperately needed

Hi,

Has anyone found a solution to gating off a french doorway. The widest stairgate I've found on the market is 106 cm wide. The doors are 118cm wide and lead from the living room to the family room/kitchen. My baby is number 4 and I'm desperately trying to reduce the space that I have to permanently monitor. I must have swept and hoovered the family room 5 times today, yet still I came across a staple this afternoon and yesterday afternoon a magnetic earing from clairs accessories. I wont resolve all that my older children drop but at least I will reduce the space that I'm permanently monitoring.

The Baby Dan den is simply beyond our budget.

Sorry, think above gate might actually be more pricey than the BabyDan. But quite a few on ebay usually.

Try Freecycle. I put a wanted on my local FC asking for something to put across our patio doors. I got a BabyDan free. Worth a try. The other place to look is the NetMums (I know, I know) local nearly new board. They often have room dividers.

safetots has a range of wider gates. With some of them you need to buy extra extensions.
