please tell me how i should react.
my 8 yr old ds love his tv. he woke up this morning at half three, and was watching tv till half nineish, when i insisted he turn the thing off.
he argued with me a bit, then and ive just discovered this, went upstairs, and from my wardrobe, got out all my most expensive clothes, and threw them all over the room. hundreds of pounds worth of stuff. i dont know if has damaged them or not, but ....
what should i do?

He watched tv from half three in the morning?

I'd ban tv....

Blimey I have 10 year old daughter but I am not sure what advice to give, Definately take tv out of his room. A really strong talk to him may or may not work and I would make him tidy your room to perfection although if he is still angry would he do it again??

I have big temper tantrums from my 10 year old but haven't had to deal with this.

Good luck :-) xxx

I think he is too young to have a tv in his room! what is he watching..do you know?
Or if you still want it in his room can you put some kind of timer on it?
Maybe you could make a reward system. !hours tv for certain things done.
Talk to him. Tell him how you value the clothes he has spoilt and ask him how he would feel if you wrecked his stuff?

Definitely ditch the TV. Hope he wasn't watching any dodgy Channel 4 programmes ...
