Does anybody know if 68/39 is the correct blood pressure (ish) for a 4 year old girl? I have tried googleing but the charts show it should be much higher... does any body know? Thanks

I don't understand your question. YOu say you've found stuff online saying it should be higher. Doesn't that mean it's too low and you should take her to a GP? How did you find it out? If you're doing it on a home monitor, you do know children need different cuffs, don't you?

ps. I'm not a children's nurse, but it sounds very low to me.

I have a home monitor that i just bought today. DD was watching me and wanted to "to try" and when it came up i thought it was a bit low. I had no idea that they need different cuffs, although now you have said it it makes perfect sense Blush

Thank you

Thanks Lizard. She had been resting for a while in preperation for bed when we tried it so i imagine it would be a little lower than normal anyway as she had been lay down. Thanks for looking :)
