What do your toddlers find funny?

Wondered what is guaranteed to make your toddlers laugh? The ones I know laugh at saucepans on heads and anything unexpected - eg pretending a car can fly or that a dog says miaow.

My 26mo dd laughs her head off if we pretend to fall over or pull funny faces at each other!

Bodily functions, mainly Blush

DS decided a couple of weeks ago that the word 'spoon' was the funniest thing ever. He's got bored of it now.

This week he thinks it hilarious to bang on anything metal (particularly the drainpipe by the back door) so we say 'shhh!' at him. He fell over laughing earlier in the week doing this.

Toddlers are weird...

The sodastream. He shrieks with laughter when I carbonate.

We'd be doing it all day if it was up to him.

DD finds it hilarious if I pretend she is invisible and sit down on her, then complain that the chair is too wriggly.

Acting perfectly normal and then suddenly pulling a funny face.

Slapstick comedy- 'almost' dropping something or falling.

Poo.

And Bums.

DontCallMeBaby · 27/08/2010 20:28

I don't have a toddler any more, but my friends' toddler AND my DD (6) and my friend, her husband and me were in fits over an accidental poo joke yesterday. The baby was nonplussed though.

Slapstick, definitely. Mr Tumble.

Playing with the ball / balloons.

If I laugh at anything, he finds that infinitely funny, too.

Deliberately saying the wrong word in a story.

"Flopsy, Mopsy and Cottontail were good little....cats! ahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahha"

This has been going on for weeks. I'm failing to see the joke but apparently it's still hilarious.

If my boy thinks he's hurt me he finds it hilarious. So lots of ouch and moans and groans and he's happy
