Anyone trying to amuse a toddler/pre-schooler?...

Aldi have a box of 20 jumbo coloured chalks for £1.

I sent DD into the garden with a couple and a bowl of water and a cloth and drawing/wiping the wall kept her amused for, oooh, at least 8 minutes (which has to be a personal record!) Smile

So, worth a try if anyone is getting desperate...

I might resort to it. This morning we've made that pasta robot thing that keeps being on an advert on cbeebies. The bloody things arms won't stay on and I'm going to need a glass of wine before I attempt the legs Confused.

Think yourself lucky you can resort to the wine - 16 weeks with DC2 so I can only head for the biscuit barrel, I'm afraid.

Haven't done pasta yet, must add that to my list of 'desperate measures'!

Anything related to the garden and water is usually a hit. DS loves to wash things (actually made a pretty good job of washing the outside of the back door the other week!) and "paint" on the wall with water.

His favourite inside activity at the moment is getting a stack of paper and posting it into a set of drawers. Also, cutting up the paper into tiny pieces (with plastic scissors)
