Hi
My 14 month old can cruise and push her walker along but I've noticed her feet a kind of flat - is this normal at this stage? Are they in the process of strenghthening/developing?

Perhaps I should take her for a check-up?
Thanks

Meant 'are flat' not 'a flat'

Its normal, almost all toddlers have flat feet. The rolling action of a normal adult walking gait is developed near two years old.

Agree with reallytired. LO's paediatrician told me this last week. Their feet are not yet fully formed (bones etc) so they have flat feet/no arches. As they grow the ligaments tighten up causing the arches to form. HTH.
