DD hates Phil & Teds pushchair

My DD (4 months) detests going in her pushchair (its a Phil and Teds double - and she goes in the baby bit at the moment) and it's getting a restrictive. I tend to drive everywhere (she hates her carseat too but at least I get to places quicker and no-one else can hear her screamsBlush). But would prefer to walk.
I have a sling but it's a bit difficult to push DS and use the sling (plus she sleeps in sling too and I'm getting knackered)
So - what do i do?
Keep popping her in it and hope she'll get used to it?
Switch to the "two toddlers" mode?
Give up and sling/car everywhere?

I'm just glad I bought the buggy on ebay and didn't fork out loads for it

If she's closer to 5 months I would use the doubles kit on the back tbh. Make sure it's unzipped and it will recline a bit for her. It sounds like she prefers to be in a more upright position.

DS2 is 4.5 months and i had to use the toddler kit (unzipped) because he is just screaming if i try to put him in the baby position.
ihave been wondering if it is bc my p&t is black (and therefore very dark?)

i also kept my maclaren and have a buggy board for short trips. (and at least DS2 doesnt mind lying flat in it (because he can see i suppose)
DS1 is not yet 2 so it is sometimes tricky toget him to stay on the buggy board. but he likes it when i say it is a train!

p&t are over-rated in my opinion...
