How long does the devil incarnate stage last?

Please tell me its a phase and poor DS2 won't be bruised forever :(

and also

my 6 year old is just starting with this. DH has told me it's a 'testosterone burst' and will pass.
He has so much attitude it's incredible (DS not DH....). Sorry I can't be of any help.....

yes DS2 has been like this since the end of Y1 - he is in Y3 in september

i made him stand outside the front door tonight after pinching DS2 so hard that he drew blood

Asked him to decide if he was coming back in as member of the family and try to get along or if we needed to see if supernanny was free

i know i know but i was furious with him!

My Mum said that when my brother was 7, aliens came and replaced her angel with some sort of monster. I asked her when they brought him back? She said she was still waiting! (I think she was joking as he is now 24)
However my DS has now turned 7 and although not too bad yet, he is not the same.
