DS2 has gone in the lounge to watch Britain's best dish, DD is still eating pudding but their was a real panic on her voice "I wanted to watch that. What is it?" Hmm

Wake up kids, there are 3 of you and one of me and you all get the same but I draw the the line at counting out your shreddies or your chips!

I remember as a kid being so competitive and hating it if my brother had more of anything than me. But at the same time I was fiercely protective over him and still am.

I wouldn't worry about it. I don't remember my mum making sure things were equal - she used to let us fight get on with it and not really take sides.

I only take sides when really really necessary. I should have had a bigger age gap.

I think it's normal. Me and my brother were 18 months apart and we fought like cats and dogs but we also played together really well. I bet we drove my mum mad. But now I'm so pleased to have a brother so close in age.

I long for the day when mine get on and care about each other.
