hello - dd is 14 weeks. she has started making some odd mouth movements - elvis style snarling of the top of one side of lip, babbling with one side of mouth more open than other. she does this on both sides alternately. mostly though her mouth movements when crying, smiling, chattering etc are symmetrical. is this normal. she is also sucking her bottom lip alot.

many thanks

I personally would be more concerned if she were older. I think the's just at an age where she is learning all the many expressions and she probably just likes the feel of them.

You reminded me that my ds used to suck her bottom lip a lot. She used to make such a cute noise, but I do think she's just exploring. :)
