I've just ordered the dvd and signing pack as there aren't any classes within 50 miles of us! Any thoughts on how I should start with my 13 month old ds?

I started the DTs with the signs for more, eat and drink oh and bath. They love that one.

ok and do I just use them every time the word comes up in context or can you just go with em whenever?

I used them all the time when I said them iyswim. eg more: when I was feeding them yogurt I would stop before the pot was finished. Then I would say and sign more. Even though they looked at me blankly for ages I continued. The same with bath. DT2 picked up the eat sign really quickly. DT1 the more sign. They both like the bath sign and if we read a book with a bath in it they both make the sign. hth

Great, thanks. I'll get going and let you know when he does!
