When do they grow out of stripping off? Will it just stop when winter comes?

DD tends to strip off when we're inside, I'm grateful that I can persuade her to keep her clothes on outside. It's quite chilly here today and she's still wandering around in her pants with goosebumps on her skin. Any tips for forcing persuading her into clothes or should I only start worrying if she starts shivering?

I'm hoping she'll grow out of it soon as it just adds so much time to the already Herculean task of getting her out of the house to pick up DS.

Just keep your central heating thermostat at a sensible 19C or so.... once the weather cools, that should do the trick :)

How old is she? My DS went through a phase of stripping off trousers and nappies when he first learned how to do it - he took off tops only when he could manage it, but still isn't so good at that.

He's stopped taking the nappies off so much now, though still takes his trousers off every now and then, and hates socks. I think it was mostly the novelty factor that had him stripping down to nude (til we put him in pull-ups), because he doesn't seem as fussed now.

If your DD is anything like my DS, she'll get bored with doing it after a couple of months. And if she feels cold she will tell you. (DS used to take his clothes off, wander around, and then come and say 'cold' to me, at which point I would suggest and he would accept a t-shirt and possibly a jumper, which at least kept his chest warm.)

She's 2.7 yrs. She's been pretty good at dressing and undressing for a while, this has just started in the last few weeks though. She also has a bit of a thing about wearing pajamas instead of clothes, so quite often I just give in and take her out in her pajamas.
