Help how to stop this. He is always interrupting and shouting. Even in normal conversation with adults and children he shouts. It is very wearing for all around.

Tips for how to help him to stop this please.

Can anyone help with this.

Anyone had a similar experience?

He is about to start year 2.

You could be talking about my 6 yr old DS!

ALL the neighbours know him very well!!

He never talks, just shouts and always has done. He's better on the interrupting now because he knows from years of experience that he won't get answered until we have finished our conversation.

We just try to praise him lots when he's quiet and calm and give him time in large fields/parks where he can scream and shout without much annoyance to others.

He's just naturally very loud and I think he always will be

Has he had his hearing checked? Alot of children who have hearing problems tend to shout/talk loud.

Hearing has been checked but thanks for the kind suggestion.

Minty this sounds just like him. The death stares I got on a Eurostar journey a few weeks back were horrendous - he was playing 'SNAP' and you could hear his 'snaps' up and down the carriage. I don't want to be forever shushing. I wish there was a magic fix.
