my ds is a lovely, affectionate , intelligent boy. he has always been 'challenging' in that he loves to argue , hates to listen, and finds it hard to say sorry or take no for an answer. i keep thinking he will grow out of it, but he is worse than ever, and it is affecting his brother (5) who is copying him somewhat. I am worried that my younger daughter will also start acting up. he is great at school. this summer we have had tantrums, weeping and wailing , especially when he gets told off for misbehaviour (eg playing too roughly with his sister, answering back , not listening). today he had a complete fit for 45 minutes, including storming off out the front door. then he blamed everyone else for his behaviour but himself. I honestly think he wants to calm down but doesnt know how, and I dont know how to help him. should I try and get professional advice, and if so, where should I go? thanks
