Eating Habits

Wasn't sure where to post this really so thought I'd start here.

DD is 16 months old, full time at nursery, and since April has been very funny about eating sandwiches. According to the nursery staff, she DOES eat sandwiches there with no fuss, and yet if I present a sandwich, regardless of contents, colour of bread, or shape cut, she just turns her head away and won't even entertain touching it. If i just put it on a plate or on her tray and walk away, she will pick it up and just drop it on the floor or put it onto the table.

I know I shouldn't get stressed about eating habits, but this is really starting to bother me and weekends are a nightmare trying to figure what to take out for her to eat - I have tried alternatives such as Pitta, wraps etc and just get the same response.

I know its not a big problem and probably just a phase, but just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced anything similar with eating habits at nursery appearing to be totally differnt. Any advice or suggestions to try and get her eating them would be appreciated.

Thanks
RHG

DS didn't like sandwiches for ages. I just used to give him plain bread, cheese and bits of ham etc

I also think it is quite normal for DCs to be picky about certain foods at home but not in childcare.
