bashing head and nose bleed

Has anyone encountered this. I am considering going to the gp but not sure what they could do exactly.
DS2 now 16months old is having huge tantrums where he bashes his head into anything. But now he has a three nose bleeds over the past three days while doing this.
5 minutes later he is fine and playing with his brother and sister like nothing happened.

any ideas

Well obviously it's horrible to see. I don't think it's that uncommon though. I have heard about it several times and as i'm sure you know it's just frustration. Does he do it when he's not angry? If not then I wouldn't worry too much. I would still consider taking him to the Docs though if he doesn't stop soon.
