A question about teeth

DD (almost 8mo) has been teething for ages and now her teeth have finally started cutting through.

How long does this normally take? She has about quarter of a tooth on the bottom but it has been like this for about 3 weeks now. The tooth next to it felt like it was coming through too but now seems to have gone back in . She also has 2 white buds in the top of her mouth that look ready to erupt.

She seems fine, apart from lots of awakenings at night, being unable to sleep without my boobs (day and night) and being off solid food apart from fruit.

It seemed to take a few days for them to finally spring through but once they were through it took ages for the whole tooth to make an appearance. My DS's top front teeth cut last month but still haven't fully erupted! He is still showing signs of teething - I had a look in his mouth and the next ones are starting to show. It's never ending!

My DS went off solids so I put it in the fridge which he much preferred. He also likes stuff he can suck - chips being an example

Thanks Iggly. I managed to get a good look in her mouth today and the next ones are starting to come through - top and bottom. Seems like they are all coming at once!
