Wild 3 yr old

My 3 yr old boy is such a handful, in the back of my mind I think there might be something else going on as he does appear to stand out from his peers, but I am not sure what. He is very hyper - runs around, is very loud and often silly ( uses baby talk). Also he does not listen so it's really hard to control him when he is like this. I must say though he is not like this all the time and can focus on toys and books. He really struggles with other children and will often "play" the baddie.

Any thoughts? Do you think this in the bounds of what is normal?

Please help if you can??

all i can say is every child is different but us as mums know best if you feel there is more to it then go see your gp who can refer you to child development team and go from there he may well just be an excitable child or there could be more but to set your mind at rest take all worries to gp write them all down

early intervention is always best if theres nothing to worry about then great if there is you have done it at the right time

He sounds very much like my DS. It's bloody wearing isn't it! I would say he is completely normal, just hyper (like mine). All we can do is keep riding it out.

Yeah threenager. I think they get a testosterone kick at this age. DS1 and now DS2 were/ are both a nightmare at 3. Lots of exercise is the key I think.
