My ds was 6 in july he is one of the youngest in his class. He seems so immature compared to other children, he plays football but he has been there nearly a year now and just dosent seem to grasp the concept and seems very immature compared to other chilren.

I guess im just paranoid and want to know that not all 6 year olds are grown up and sensible .

Me too! DS (6 in June) blows his pocket money on pink YooHoos, can't speak a coherent sentence, still throws tantrums (especially in public).

Trying not to be negative about it, but yeah, we all struggle a bit with DS. He's my DC3 so I think we sometimes have unrealistic expectations (expect him to behave like older DC).

He is our first we also have a dd who is 3 and sometimes she seems so much more grown up than him but that may be a girl thing. He can be so sensible at times and then other times he acts the fool.
