Please tell me things will get better soon!
DDIS 4,new DS is 3 weeks and she hates him - and me!
I thought I was preapred for a bit of an unsettled time but her behaviour has been awful. The disobedience and tantrums are getting worse and worse than that she tries to hurt the baby. For example by saying she wants to kiss him but almost squashing him. The other day she pulled back his bouncy chair so he nearly fell out. Can't leave her near him for a second.
We have tried to include her, let her have special time with me but nothing helps. I hav even talked to her about her feelings but again no effect.
I KNOW it is early days but am finding it hard to like her when she is wishing harm on her brother like this. I am careful she doesn't feel this and yes I feel wretched about my negativity toward her.
Any ideas or tales that may help me feel less desperate? Anyone else go through this?
