All his friends are girls! (He's 4)

He will be 4 in october. Loves nursery, he will be going full time soon... BUT all his friends are girls! He's really off the wall and imaginative, but little boys seem to be into football and fighting. He isn't. He's a gentle child and not very physically confident. (I do my best to encourage him. I love sports but he really doesn't like it.) I'm worried that when he gets a little older no one will play with him at all as the gender devide is so strong. Has anyone else got this situation?

my eldest is starting secondary school and one of her friends is a boy who only plays with the girls. He even goes to birthday parties where he is the only boy. He's not keen on sports but despite that is very much a boy, IFKWIM. His mother calls him her little gentleman. I tell him there will be other boys like him at secondary school but all the other boys will envy him soon because they'll start to be interested in girls and he will be the girls favourite!

Even if your son doesn't change as he gets older he can still find friends.
