Sucking her left thumb so...

...will she be left handed? Just curious. I sucked my right thumb and am right handed. Any link?

Bit of a tenuous link - DD1 (4) still sucks her L thumb but is very R sided dominant.

DS (2.9y)sucks his left thumb, and is definitely showing left handed preference. DH also sucked is left thumb, and he's left handed..

From personal experience, no. It would be a pain to be sucking the hand you use for everything else.

I also suck sucked my left thumb, but am now right-handed but to throw confusion into it, I used to be left-handed (bloody 70's education system...)
