dd4 has always been very attached to me or dh. even as a little baby would scream if anyone came near her.

Today we went to MIL for dinner. dd4 pottered around the garden with grandad, looking at baby frogs and water snails, picking up snails, and playing spinning games.

She went to Grandma for cuddles and a story.

She wasnt her completly chatty self, but its a major step for her, wheras a couple of months ago she would scream if i wasnt in sight.

It was lovely, and very reassuring for everyone that she can be away from us in a different room and not worrying.

Lovely to hear this. I have a clingy DD of 10 months, even to the point sometimes she won't go to her daddy. Glad there is hope.

I have a delightful, mature, independent, beautiful 14 year old who does all sorts of brave and adventurous thing - who would secretly like me to be with her every second of the day! Not sure what that proves.....
