DD 5months has wonky gum, is this caused by teething?

DD nearly 6 months got first two teeth at 5 months and i can see others under the gum. Recently when she smiles one side of her top gum is lower than the other (i have checked and its not just a wonky smile).
Am not sure if this is caused by her teething or there is something wrong with the gums.

Anyone else have this?

We had this and it was a tooth pushing down which for some reason seemed to take longer to erupt than its pair. I'll be out in a week or two max. is my guess!
