7 month old falling asleep suddenly

Hi just wanted to know if this was normal.
My 7 month old hasn't done this before but yesterday she fell asleep slumped over her baby walker. Today she has suddenly fallen asleep in my arms three times. This sounds trivial but she is not normally the kind of baby that does this. She hasn't been showing signs of being tired (eye rubbing etc) then just suddenly fallen sound asleep. she has had 4 naps already today and it is only 3 o'clock. It just doesn't seem like her. Should I book her in at the doctors for a check up.
any ideas anyone

I would take her to the GP to get her checked over as it's not normal for her. I hae known babies who can conk out suddenly though, so not necessarily something to worry about!

A growth spurt? There are babies out there who do just fall asleep wherever they and whatever they're doing (I've always been slightly envious!). Take her to the GP if you're worried though.

thanks guys. I've now been to the GP. Everything is OK just another tooth coming through. Just one of those things I guess I won't panic next time.
