DS(4) will not stop sniffing my armpits

he has been doing this since i stopped breastfeeding him at 1 year old. He just sticks his nose it and sniffs away! I have asked him why and he says he likes the smell. i have tried to get him to stop but apart from bodily gently pushing him away he won't. I know I shouldn't mind really but sometimes it is more than mildly irritating - is it just us or do other children do this?

No ideas, but my 4yo won't stop licking me...... gross.

oh thank goodness it's not just me then. starting to get to the stage where i thought it was. funny that my dd was never like this. He also likes to snuggle up with my bras (not when I am wearing them ) and helps himself to them. Also led to slightly humiliating conversation with a mum in school playground who commented on my black silk nightie. DH had let DS take it with him to the local park. thanks for that.

My DS keeps trying to sniff our bottoms! As we do that to see if he has pooed, he is now doing it to us (or trying to). We now look in his nappy rather than sniff.

He does also lick us sometimes. Children are generally, very strange.
