Windy baby at night

Hi
my ds is 10 weeks old and has a real wind problem at night. i feed him to a sleepy state and then try to wind him but he is to drowsy to get any wind out or sometimes i get one burp and i can hear more gurgling in his tummy!
I sit him up, masssage his tummy and his back and are giving him infacol but no wind comes up.
Does anyone have any amazing wind techniques for a sleepy baby i haven't tried?
I am praying he grows out of this windy stage by 12 weeks!

Is the wind bothering him?

Sorry I guess that it is, it's not clear from your post! If it's not bothering him then leave him to sleep is my advice

sorry yes it wakes him up and he thrashes around trying to sleep.
I am convinced if he didn't have the wind he would do a 7 hour stretch although this might be wishful thinking!

have you tried gently moving his legs in a "cycling" motion? that can sometimes shift wind

my babies have both been very noisy, thrashy sleepers, it may be just how he is rather than down to the wind IYSWIM

HI my DS was the same and I was advised to massage his tummy during the day at every nappy change in a clockwise direction as this seemingly stops the build-up of wind in the body. I did this and sometimes it helped, sometimes it didn't. I have since heated a wheat bag in the microwave, not longer than say 1minute, and sat DS on my knee facing forwards - I put the wheat bag on his tummy and kind of jiggle him. This seems to help. SOmetimes there can be trapped wind or a pain in the tummy and this can be enough to move it. hTH

I do massage tummy but not at often as I should I definately try the wheat bag.
