my DD is 5 1/2 months old

Me & my partner are taking her away to a caravan for a few days and where planning to take her swimming for the first time during the stay.

However she has only had 2 of her immunizations and is due to get the third when we are back home.

My health visitor advised waiting until she got the third one before taking her swimming?

I have heard of baby's younger than DD going swimming so Im a bit confused?

any advise?

they dont need to have had any of their jabs to go swimming so your hv is talking rubbish. We took ds from when he was around 3 months.

My local children's centre runs swimming sessions for children from birth so I can't see it being an issue as none of the very little ones will be fully jabbed up.
