my ds walking everywhere now and is into everything. also gets v frustrated if he's not allowed to meddle with plugs, etc. and is obsessed with bouncing on dd's trampoline!

his birthday is September 7th and is 26lb ish.

Saacsmum · 21/08/2005 09:12

Saac has the peekablocks dumptruck which is kinda cool. We got him a paddling pool and a sandpit for his bday as it is almost summer here.

mumtosomeone · 21/08/2005 15:23

we have the truck and elephant..so building on it!!!

DS2 will be one on 4th September. He is toddling around and a very easy baby. Adores his food and believe me, it takes a lot of it to satisfy his 28.5lb frame (believe it or not he hasn't put on any weight at all for nearly 2 months!!)

mumtosomeone · 21/08/2005 21:32

not weighed him for ages must do that!! I am totally besotted with him!!
Just said to DH tonight He is too gorgeous to be a boy!!!

crawling, pulling himself up on everything (and cruising a few steps), climbing the stairs, 9 teeth, mummy, dada etc etc.

Question - DS is sort of cruising but doesn't lift his legs up to move - he drags them along the ground. Consequently, he won't 'walk' when I hold him by the hands. Is this normal?

Charlee · 22/08/2005 15:38

Im really sad i cant buy ds anything extravgent for his birthday were moving to NZ so can only take a few things and his b/days the week before but hes got some hammer in pegs, a rscue fire truck and a pulley along thing with blocks in! he only wirghs 17lb 7oz hes little for his age but h.v said hes doing really well!

Saacsmum · 22/08/2005 22:04

highlander it is very normal, it is just a case of him being unsure of balancing on one leg while lifting the other, as his cruising grows in confidence he will start taking one leg off the ground more. Charlee we are in NZ which island are you moving to.

mumtosomeone · 22/08/2005 22:29

Charlee, i dont think he will mind!!
Ds now waves and says bye when he wants to go to bed...so cute.
Arent we gushing mummies!!!
