I have a 6 year old who seems to be compulsive liar. She is the youngest of 4 and not really a problem I've had with the others. Even when caught red handed it was her siblings, the cat the weather etc. School have now 'brought it to my attention'. Have tried usual strategies but no luck. Any ideas please?

Children often lie if they are worried about what will happen when they tell the truth. You could offer alternative punishments for 'red handed' situations, perhaps.... the one for lying obviously being the worst of the two choices.
