Grunting whilst watching TV

For the past eight months my DS has grunted loudly on every breath when he watches the TV.

It is driving me insane. He does not do it when walking playing with other toys etc.

It has got to the stage that I am screaming at him, it drives me mad. Happily playing,turn on TV, grunt, grunt grunt every 10 seconds.

Any ideas how to stop it?

Turn off the TV every time he does it! If he is aware he is doing it he will then stop if he loves the TV??
