DD is driving me slightly mad. From the moment she wakes up until she goes to bed, she never stops asking questions or saying why. I know, deep down, its probably a good think and indicative of an enquiring mind, but she never stops.

Me: "DD, don't do that"

DD "Why ?"

Me "DD could you do this please ?

DD "Why ?"

DD "What are you doing ? Why do we have to get dressed ? Why do we have to have lunch ? Why don't you want me to play with that knife" etc etc etc

Me: "DD, please could you stop asking daft questions otherwise I think might head might explode !"

DD.......... "Why ?"

Aaaarrrrrghhhhhhhh

She's 3.2. Please tell me it ends soon. Please

I've still got the Why stage now and normally it is to questions she knows the answers to as others have said!!!!! I also ask my DD (3.8) 'why do you think' and that stops her.....for all of half a second!!!

DS2 is 2.10 and is doing this. DH has started just randomly saying ehy to him, it doesn't help and drives me mad more.

I have a while of this yet though.

ha ha ha my DS is 4.5 and it hasn't stopped yet, in fact the questions have just got increasingly difficult, for example- "why does petrol make the car move?" "why is carpet made of wool?"
thats when you know you are screwed
