A bit of a naughty name? When you hear the name do you think rough kid??

I was going to use it but every god damn Charlie I meet is a not very nice boy and it's making me wonder whether its a bad choice :S

Errrrrm no! I know a Charlie and he is the most lovely little boy who always makes time to play nicely and share with my rather sensitive ds. Lovely name!

Tillyscoutsmum · 06/07/2010 21:55

Both the Charlies I know are lovely

My Charlie is cheeky and funny - and very well-behaved at school - very hardworking. But he also likes being called Charles.

Hedwig3 · 06/07/2010 22:06

No

Hulababy · 06/07/2010 22:12

My 2y godson is Charlie (full name Charles). He is adorable. A typical cheeky, into everything 2y little boy, but full on naughty - no.

melikalikimaka · 07/07/2010 15:15

I know a Charlie, very popular in class, sporty, good looking but not naughty.

weaselbudge · 07/07/2010 17:11

i think that charlie is becoming a very popular name which means it is more likely that the naughty kids are called charlie - simply statistically not because of the name!
Fwiw my charlie is a cheeky chappy - very boisterous and sporty but generally does what he's told and is very very kind to other children.

Jamieandhismagictorch · 07/07/2010 18:06

True weasel

I am a bit miffed at how popular it has become, I thought I was being original 7 years ago

coffeefestival · 07/07/2010 19:00

I know more female Charlies (short for Charlotte) than male ones!

CharlieBoo · 08/07/2010 19:16

Charlie for a girl is just horrible! For a boy it is classic, old fashioned, cheeky, and adorable. For all the beautiful girls names out there, I just never understand girls called Charlie, to me its a boys name.

LittleSilver · 10/07/2010 21:26

I think it's boring and unoriginal,not naughty.
