M names

polkadottytotty · 06/07/2010 10:08

I seem to be drawn towards M names at the moment for some reason.
Already have two boys with very unusual names (beginning with F and H).

These are the ones I like so far

Boys
Marlow
Miller
Milo

Girls
Marnie
Minnah
Malone (possibly Mo for short)
Mara
Maren

Would appreciate thoughts on these and any other suggestions?

Thanks

I love Merryn for a girl. Or Martha, tho' less unusual

Thanks Fanfare - like Merryn, can't have Martha as it sounds too much like my DS's name but I do love it.

I love Monty - but only in that form - not too keen on Montague/Montgomery.

Thanks coffeefestival - I like lots of those, particlarly Marla, Micah and Morley.

I've also just found Maille, its Irish(pronounced Mylee) but might be a bit too close to Miley(as in Cyrus).

I love Milo but not too sure it's a name for a grown man...

KnitterNotTwitter · 06/07/2010 11:35

I've always loved Mahalia/Mahala but can't have it as our surname begins with 'M'....sigh...

gladders · 06/07/2010 11:51

malachy

Marcie
Macie
Mimi
Mabel
Mimosa
I know a little girl called Mica , which can be for either sex.

Miller is growing in popularity - I have heard of 4 in the last few weeks.
