felicity too flowery

dh loved the name felicity i gave in under duress i thought i could live with it . i would have preffered something stronger such as matilda or arabella but dh vetoed them .i'm still really not sure think it's too sweet ok for a little girl . every time i hear an adult especially anyone over 30 i just think it sounds wrong. am i being daft .

I love the name Felicity and know one called Fifi at nursery.
Everyone I know loves her name, as a nursery worker I heard a lot of comments, all favourable.

I am called Felicity and my nickname which I am more known by is Fliss. I hate Flick.... I dont understand where it comes from relating to the name. Never heard of Lissy but think it's nice. The older I get the more Felicity grows on me and I am proud of my name :)

I know an adult Felicity too - she is known by her nn Fliss which suits her fine.

I think its a pretty name.
