Hi Skyplusbump, there is a g on the end but in Gaelic a lot of letters are silent, Tadhg is prnounced like the 1st syllable in 'tiger', actually it would really match Skye which is also a name I love

My nephew is called Tadhg - his irish relative call him Tige (as in Tiger without the r) but us english and his parents call him Tag.

It's a good strong name with a lovely meaning.

I live in a Gaeltacht area, my dd is going to an Irish language play school, I know a numbers of Tadhg's in different areas of the country, it is pronounced Ti.

I can say a bunch of English names!

I'm not being petty though, it's just it's a beautiful name.
